London Blockchain Week 20th – 26th January 2017
The biggest Blockchain conference is back and this time it’s in London. Having successfully launched in 2015 the event has hit New York, Hong Kong and even San Francisco. The two-day event is expected to see around 1,000 participants from figures in the FinTech community to startups and VC firms collaborate to discuss all things Blockchain.
While the conference may just be for two days, the whole week starting from the 20th January will celebrate Blockchain, kicking off with a hackathon, where developers will be challenged with creating Blockchain concepts to help local, regional and national governments assist their citizens better.
The Blockchain conference over the 23rd and 24th January will cover topics such as Bitcoin, Crypto and DLT. With an eclectic mix of speakers from the UK Home Office to Bruce Pon, who’s helped to build startups in Europe, Asia and the Americas and who is now Founder and CEO of BigchainDB a Blockchain database that allows enterprises to deploy decentralized applications. The conference will also see UNICEF present ‘Donercoin’, its Blockchain solution to digitalize donations and as such create transparency in global aid.
